Entering Your Information: Provide necessary details like your flight number, a contact number for your trip, and other reservation specifics. In the Notes section, mention your preferred time for the shuttle. Securely complete your payment online. Booking early is recommended to increase the likelihood of getting your preferred time. Shuttle slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Receiving Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation of your booking within 5-10 minutes. For bookings made more than 5 days in advance, we will contact you a few days before your service. For same-day reservations, we will get in touch with you quickly within our working hours (7 AM to 9 PM), possibly offering alternative shuttle timings if needed.
Preparing for Your Journey: We’ll send an email before your trip with detailed instructions, including the shuttle meeting point and the exact time for your transfer.
Understand these simple shuttle reservation steps:
- Select if you are departing from SJD Airport, La Paz, Todos Santos or Los Barriles.
- Select your destination.
- Enter your final destination (shuttles only pick-up and drop off from bus terminals; you get a ride to your final destination from there)
- Enter date and select one-way or round trip. (*All shuttle times of departure and selection of departure time are subject to availability. )
- Fill in your flight details, traveling cell phone number, booking information and complete the secure online payment
- We confirm the reservation by email within 24 hours (if same-day we will email/call you during business hours (7 AM – 9 PM)
- An email is sent to in minutes containing your receipt & instructions.
You will be notified post-booking where to meet and check-in at the Cabo Airport or, at the bus terminal in La Paz. Our representative will be waiting for you outside the terminal under an assigned umbrella. They will have your name on the list and assigned a corresponding shuttle. You’ll be escorted to your air-conditioned shared vehicle when ready for transport.
- Pricing: Cost is per individual and for a one-way trip, unless a round-trip ticket is chosen.
- Ticket Policy: Tickets are not transferable. No refunds for missed or unused tickets.
- Missed Flights/Delays: If your flight is missed or delayed, resulting in a missed shuttle, a new ticket must be purchased.
- Luggage Allowance: Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one backpack or purse, with a combined weight limit of 50 lbs. Overweight luggage incurs additional fees at the location.
- Booking in Advance: It’s recommended to book at least 72+ hours in advance for optimal scheduling. Exact shuttle times cannot be guaranteed, and shuttle timings may be adjusted based on availability. We strongly advise to book as far in advance as possible to accommodate your shuttle time.
- Wait Times: Wait times can exceed an hour, as shuttles may wait to fill up with passengers. Departures can be delayed for up to 6 hours. Excessive delays are not subject to a refund.
- Non-Refundable Delays: Delays caused by factors outside CheapCaboShuttle.com or our operators (e.g., flight delays, taxi delays) that result in missed shuttles do not qualify for a refund.
- Pick-Up Requirements: Passengers must be at the designated pick-up location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled shuttle departure time.
- Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted on the shuttle.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 72 hours of the service are non-refundable.
About SJD Cabo Airport
SJD Airport is called San Jose del Cabo International Airport or, “Cabo Airport”. Considered the main international airport in Baja California SUR and also commonly called the Los Cabos Airport. Your travel time depends on your resort location. General travel time from Cabo Airport to downtown San Jose is around 20 minutes.

The journey to the Cabo Corridor typically takes about 30-40 minutes, offering a relatively swift transit. For those heading to downtown Cabo San Lucas or the Pacific side, where landmarks like the Hard Rock Hotel, Rancho Solmar Resort, and Nobu are located, the travel time is approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
It’s important to note that these travel times are average estimates and can be influenced by several variables. Factors such as toll traffic and general road conditions play a significant role in determining the actual duration of the journey. Additionally, unforeseen circumstances like traffic congestion, road accidents, or acts of nature, commonly referred to as ‘Acts of God’, can also impact travel times. Such events are unpredictable and can lead to delays beyond the control of transportation services.
Travelers should be aware of these potential delays and, if possible, plan their schedules with some flexibility to accommodate unexpected changes in travel time.
